Ravel String Quartet in F Major

The EXPO Foundation presents:

They have played with us before and they did it enchantingly. Tears in my eyes,” a visitor confided to me during the break. That is why they are now performing again.
Under a mysterious title, indeed. The string quartet in F after the break is of course completely clear. But… parallel 40?
Pau Marques Oleo, the cellist of the quartet, was born in Menorca, which is located at the fortieth parallel. He followed that imaginary circle around the world and collected music from all over the world that was made at this “height”. From Scarlatti in Naples via Sakamoto from Japan to Carlos Paredes in Portugal. And much more. From “heavy classical” to folk music. A completely unique program with a lot of surprises.
